He was introduced gradually, he had a reason for being there that they stayed true to, a recognisable and unique character, and they put him in with someone who was lacking a partner rather than shoving him in where others should be. Plus they employed an actor who could actually act.

I'm with you, I still find it unebelievable that so many professionals connected with H50 could get it so wrong.
