Lenkov interview

Listened to Mike Buck's radio interview with Peter Lenkov on the way to work today... all the commercial breaks, traffic news etc are still in the recording so it was kind of like being on holiday driving somewhere listening to the radio :)

Interesting stuff, although I did yell a bit when Peter was saying how good Alex and Scott were together and how fantastic the interaction between their characters - yes, so why did you pretty much remove it from the show for the first half of this season??

Best of all was the utter incredulity in Peter's voice when the caller asked about possible romantic tension between Steve and Lori... whatever he says now, I think the first few episodes show that love interest was once an intention, but I can safely say that Peter's reaction in this interview firmly puts a lid on that one... :)

Truly excellent news!

Good for Lenkov for fixing the mistakes he made earlier in the season. But you would think he'd learn after the debacle with Jenna that you have to carefully introduce a potential love interest--instead Lori's introduction was as badly mishandled as Jenna's.

Where are you getting that Jenna was ever supposed to be a love interest? Who was she to be paired with? I've never heard this....which doesn't mean anything, I'm just surprised to read it.

I don't think it was ever something that came from CBS, but I do remember seeing an article on one website or in a magazine before her first appearance that speculated about the Jenna character as romantic interest for Steve.

I never saw it in the character at all, though.

Yeah, I never read anything from CBS or the folks at H50, and didn't really think they even hinted at it on the show.
