I have nothing against either Brad or Keira, but as Mr Darcy and Elizabeth Bennett? Just... no... *backs away in horror*

Another thought: I could very easily see Keira as Emma, however.

I couldn't agree more! Brad pitt - as fantastic an actor he is - is NOT Mr darcy! There is and always will be only ONE Mr Darcy. *purrs at dark-haired wet-shirted scene*

Why bother. The BBC adaptation can never be bettered. You're right; Keira would make a great Emma, but NO, not Lizzy Bennett...Brad Pitt, I love him...but he's not DARCY.... Gah!
