Sailing
Going sailing for the weekend at the start of September - friends have hired a yacht for the weekend and are going to give me a shot at starting to get to grips with some of the stuff I need to know for my Day Skipper *big grin*
And I got the local adult education info today, and I can do the shore-based part of the Day Skipper ('A comprehensive introduction to chart work, navigation, meteorology and the basics of seamanship') as an evening class at one of the local secondary schools.
