Silence

DS is at a birthday party.

DH and DD have gone to town together to do whatever a father and 4-year-old daughter might want to do in town.

I am alone in the house and it is blissfully silent. Perfect peace and quiet.

Now, it would just be a crime, would it not, to shatter such perfect peace by turning on the vacuum cleaner or other household appliance?
