The dark of the day

Very dark out there this morning - the outside light, which is on a light sensor, is still on at almost 10 in the morning. The cloud layer must be very thick today.

I can't believe that this time last year I was posting about seeing bees and caterpillars in our garden. It seems totally unbelievable this winter.
