Aaargh!
Beautiful warm (16 degrees C) and almost sunny day here today - so thought I'd go out for a nice cycle ride to get some exercise and enjoy the weather.
A mile out I picked up a 2-inch long nail in my back tyre. Tyre and inner tube b*gg*r*d, and the nail jammed against the mudguard so that the mudguard scrumpled up, broke and locked the wheel solid. I was clipped in (I use SPD pedals) and only just managed to get my foot free and prevent a nasty case of road rash. Then I had to walk home carrying/dragging the bike.
Not a happy bunny. Most definitely not :-(
