It was one of those beautiful days when I love to sit out on my porch and just listen to the rain. So very peaceful.

It was also the anniversary of my Dad's death. The children sat out there with me for a while and listened to me talk about him - the grandfather they never met, who would have adored them both so much. The mood of the weather felt sort of right for that.
