To spoil or not to spoil?

I'm not going to see ROTK until Friday. So my dilemma is this: do I go on the boards and read the spoilers tomorrow and Thursday, or do I resist temptation?

Resisting temptation has never been my strong point.

Last year I avidly read every spoiler I could, and when I saw TTT I was glad that I was prepared for the changes PJ had made from the book.

But this year I'm not so sure. What to do?

I think you should ask a couple of people you trust what their thoughts are on it without spoiling it too much for you.

I've looked at very little on ROTK because I don't want the emotional impact to be spoiled for me.

Yes, I guess part of the reluctance is just that we don't want to spoil it (I have read the spoilers, but I almost didn't - for about a milisecond, which is a long time for me *G*), because, well, this is it. The only thing to look forward to after this is the extended DVD.

Well, for me there is still the excitement of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (June 4th). Which unfortunately is not in the same league as LOTR, but will stop me from going completely cold turkey.
