Another one.

Blood and gold

Blood money.
Seized and spent by witless fools, pleasure-bent and drunk with riches and rum.

Blood for gold.
Slaughtered and spilled to take back what was squandered so carelessly.

Blood on gold.
Lifeblood let to lift the curse.

Fools gold.
And us the fools.
