I reread my stuff a lot. Sometimes its a good thing, for the reasons you stated and sometimes its a 'Holy shit, WHAT did I WRITE and WHY?!?" thing.

The distance thing is good, and sometimes, i feel motivated to edit the WTF stuff in my old stuff, but sometimes, it's nice to see something I wrote and decide that, yeah, I'm pretty proud of that.
