Cycled to work and back, 34 km (21 miles). Knocked a full 5 minutes off my best time so far, although my legs can feel it now!
Beautiful view of a Barn Owl as I cycled through the nature reserve - it was hunting alongside the track, and settled on a fence post. It sat there until I almost reached it and then flapped away across the path.

I'm seeing results now. I'd put on weight because of the antidepressants, and now I'm off them the weight needs to go. A couple of weeks of getting more exercise, eating sensibly (but not depriving myself of everything) and drinking a bit less, and I'm back to the last hole in the belt of my jeans. Two weeks ago I was having to use the second-from-last hole, so that's definite progress - and without too much pain :)
