Best guest spot *ever*

Seriously. This show consistently delivers on character and plot, but last night it did all that and then some more: Walton Goggins (Boyd Crowder from Justified) as a transgender escort with attitude (plus a mighty fine ass). Magnificent.

"Is he dead? 'Cause I don't do dead."

"Now, have you ever had your dick sucked by a Southern girl with a huge cock?"

Priceless. And fabulous :)

I'm still not over Opie, he was one of my favourite characters, but I applaud the show for having the balls to go there. Killing him off moves Jax on as a character, which works.

I love the show - I didn't watch it at first because I was hinky about how they might portray the female characters, given the subject matter, but actually their women are strong (and the showrunner himself says it's become all about the women). And the way the characters have developed, and the politics coming out within the club... works for me. S3 was not quite so good IMHO, but I loved S4 and so far a couple of the S5 episodes have left me stunned and reeling and wanting more. And really, what more can you ask from a show? Oh yes, a transgender hooker with attitude. Truly a win :)

I've not seen Breaking Bad, but I've heard good things about it - I'll check it out :)

I will get around to watching SoA one of these days, I swear. I have the pilot episode in my possession, in fact, but still haven't watched it. I really have no doubts that I'll like it, but it just keeps getting pushed to my "things to watch" back burner. Must rectify that soon-ish.

Oh, do check out Breaking Bad; it's a must-see as far as I am concerned. The pilot is a weensy bit slow, but hell, it was the pilot and that tends to happen. But god, once it gets going, it's just non-stop with the fucked-up awesomeness. Seriously, Walter is one lab accident away from becoming a super villain. Which I rather like a good deal. And Jesse--and some of the crap Walter pulls with/does to him--will make you sad sometimes, which really surprised me. Beware Walter's wife though: She annoys so bad, damn, but she does still serve a purpose/add something to the show.
