Living here it's too easy to take it for granted and forget to see how beautiful it is. Sometimes it's good to take the camera out and use it to really look :)
We rarely get snow, even when the rest of the country does - we just get these bright, bitter days (like this one) when the icy fen wind cuts through you like a knife. Beautiful but harsh.
