ROTK DVD release

Apparently ROTK will be out on DVD in May - a darn sight quicker than the theatrical versions of the previous two films.

EE will still not be out until late in the year, but at least we'll have something to tide us over :-)

I put my hands up here and admit to having three copies of FOTR: a video of the theatrical release, then a video of the EE, then (because I only bought the DVD player after the EE was released) the DVD of the EE. Perfectly logical, of course *sheepish grin*

I heard that there might be a mega boxed set coming out with all the movies and extras at the end of the year and the EE of ROTK was going to be released in September. At least that's the news in retail circles. In any case I'll have way too many versions of this movie. :)

Nope - not possible to have too many versions. Anyway, all the extra stuff is different on each edition.

That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

I really hope they show us the silly outtakes. Like when Viggo got his tooth knocked out and stuff.
