Running

Ran 12.5 miles (20.2 km) yesterday morning, the furthest I've ever run in my life, and my knee still feels great. So it looks as though my half marathon is going to happen. Wish me luck on the 26th September!

What is the date for the run?

Sunday 26th. And it's on the TV, so if you switch on and see a gaggle of pink fairies running along, I'm the one with red hair.

Me and pink of any hue don't go. Big time. Not quite sure why I agreed to this...

PINK FAIRIES?!?!

BWAAAHAAHAHAAAA!

I'm going to watch, definitely. What time, what channel?

On the Beeb, I think.

But don't worry, I'm sure there will be pictures...

My daughter in particular finds the whole idea of Mummy running as a pink fairy absolutely hilarious.

I haven't seen the costume yet - we're having a sew-in on Wednesday night to make them up. All I know is that the original design was rejected by the more extrovert members of the group as being 'too tame'...

*gulp*

And is that in, 12.5 miles non-stop? How in the hell is that even humanly possible? o.o *dead just thinking about it*

The most I ever ran at a time? 1.2 miles. OH YEAH. XD

Ah, but now your running shoes have arrived from home you have no excuse not to get out there yourself... *G*

'Alarm goes. Listen to rain. Go back to sleep instead of planned run.'

Wimp!

*snigger*

Good luck with that.
