That beautiful, soft, Atlantic sand. There's nothing like it. Or, rather, many things are like it, but it has a character all its own, as well.

The Atlantic beaches on the Cape are just wonderful. They have my heart, I think, although the beaches on the inner side of the Cape have more interesting flotsam and jetsam (dogfish egg cases and horseshoe crab shells, most notably).
