Revolutions

I loved The Matrix. So Reloaded was a great disappointment. I was holding onto a faint hope that Revolutions might just save it for me. But it doesn’t look like that’s going to be the case if this review is anything to go by :-(

At least I can be fairly confident that PJ won’t have mucked up Return of the King. *fingers firmly crossed*

Going to see Revolutions this Sunday. Oh my, hope it isn't too bad...

I am really frightened Return of the King might be as bad as The Two Towers *shivers*

Fingers crossed indeed!

I shall go and see Revolutions to make up my own mind.

As for The Two Towers, I liked it (except for leaving Eomer out - the scene where he gives Theoden his sword back has always been one of my favourites) but I’d read so many spoilers that I went into the cinema totally prepared to watch it as a separate entity to the book, which I think was just as well. Word is that RotK sticks much more firmly to the original storyline.

Pirates has totally distracted me this year - this time last year I was on tenterhooks for TTT, whereas this year I’m still focussed on that DVD arriving first week in December!

I am not at all ashamed to admit that I loved both movies and I have utmost faith that PJ won't disappoint in ROTK.

So there.

[livejournal.com profile] paladinnz, my new friend. Rest assured that if the critics slag it, it has to be good.
