Cycling to work

So, I cycled to work this morning, 17 km (just over 10 miles). Now all I have to do is cycle home again... not sure that 10 miles in the dark is going to be quite so enjoyable!

Lovely morning for it, though. Set off just before dawn and got to work just after sunrise. Beautiful almost-full moon in the sky. Heard a woodpecker and (icing on the cake!) saw a Barn Owl hunting along the side of the track.

A success so far... :)

Aw, that sounds lovely! I walk to work sometimes, as my office is only about 2 km from where I live and what I like most is that I can just let my mind wander (which I can't do when I'm driving).
