Running

Out for 5 km at 1800.

Ran through the village and out along one of the bridleways across the fields, a green lane hedged with blackthorn that's still in flower. We've had gorgeous weather the last couple of days (and it's set for the weekend, apparently!) and England is moving into one of its most beautiful phases of the year - late April through to early June, when everything is coming out all fresh green, and the wildflowers are starting to come out. Beautiful. A joy to be out there this evening.

Well, i had wondered if your word usage meant you are English. In my small mountain town, snow is still being puked on the tops of the mountians. We just had snow 2 days agso but now it is wonderful out.
No. Im not a runner. Do lots of walking. up down up down. bloody hills. The magnolieas are threatening to bud just barely.

Yes, I live just outside Cambridge (historic University city and all that) in the south east of England, although I'm originally from just outside Bristol, in the south west of England.

Although currently I'm both writing in a US fandom and writing for a US client at work so I'm getting a bit schizophrenic about UK/US spellings and word usage at the moment!

I am firmly on the side of English/Canadian spelling. growing up with a English mum (she was a warbride) meant that my twin and i spoke very differently from our friends. I am constantly running into grammar/spelling challenges.

I am in the Society for Creative Anachronism so I reacreate the life of a women living in London in the year of 1375.

yeas, this fandom is intoxicating. I am blown away by the number of new writers, myself included.
ta for now.
