In the doghouse

Nobody gives you the cold shoulder quite as effectively as a cat you've pissed off...

Isn't that the truth.

All I did was de-flea him... unfortunately I made the mistake of doing his sister first, so he knew it was coming (he's pretty sharp, for a cat).

24 hours later he has just condescended to pay a brief visit to my lap, so we're making progress... slowly...

Hee! Ain't it the truth?

Cleo would sometimes get mad at me for no reason I could discern. I was left in no doubt whatsoever that I was in deep trouble for something! And he could stay mad for days before he'd - eventually - forgive me, all of which I found hilarious.

Cats are born experts at cold shoulder.

I don't know. Growing up, we had a dog that would follow you from room to room then sit with his back to you when he was mad at you.
