Freezing cold rain? No, not good. But you still went anyway? Good on ya!
I went running tonite too! Around the same time. Although did not have freezing cold rain (or else I woudn't have gone). It was a beautiful clear night with an almost full moon, around 30 F. I'm not sure how far I went, there is a section of the neighborhood I like to go that has hilly streets, and I alternate walking and running up them.
I'll echo gyrl here: Good on ya, indeed. I'm such a wimp when it comes to running in rain -- good thing I live in a desert-like climate, eh?
I've been running between 5k & 7k, about twice a week, since the soccer season ended and I'm not getting any conditioning at the team's training sessions. I'm slow as molasses, but I'm getting out there.
