Business trip

azziriaI’m off on a business trip to Switzerland for the next couple of days (Wednesday and Thursday). I remember when I first started doing this work back in 1991 I got so excited about going on trips abroad - my first one was a day trip to Frankfurt and I thought it was great. Now that I’m older and sadder I find the enthusiasm has worn off somewhat.
I shouldn’t moan, really - the trip is to Basel, which is quite a nice city, and I’m going with a colleague who I get on well with, so we’ll have a meal out somewhere and a few beers - it won’t be all work. However, last year I did 11 trips to Basel, so it really would be nice to go somewhere else for a change...
