This weekend
Sep. 12th, 2003 11:03 amSpending this weekend with both my mother and my mother-in-law.
Not quite sure how I let this happen - some idea of Mum's that I didn't veto quickly enough (note to self: must pay more attention when my mother is nattering on the phone). It will, of course, be lovely for the kids to have both grannies to hand, and DH will have a lovely time because both his mother and mine think the sun shines out of him.
So that leaves me. Any criticism that comes my way will, of course, be well meant and constructive, and any suggestion (however polite) on my part that the pair of them should butt out and leave me alone will be construed as a sign of immaturity. I can't win.

melancthe's book and work on some particularly attractive fantasy to disappear into to keep my calm (trouble is, I may not want to come out again...).
