Doom and gloom

Well, you know you're having a bad day when you can't even think of what would be needed to cheer you up. So, trying hard here:

• Getting home and discovering that Amazon have sent out complimentary advance copies of the Pirates DVD to selected customers including me.
  
• Getting home and discovering that one of our Premium Bond numbers has won the big prize so that we can pay off the mortgage, finance the new kitchen, and have enough left over for a new car, snazzy laptop, iPod, and long vacation in an exotic location.
  
• Getting home and discovering that DH has had an unexpected brain overload and booked us into a luxury hotel in the Caribbean for Christmas, my birthday, and New Year.

Guess I'd better just pop out and buy that bar of chocolate instead then...
