Guess who got 100% in her IRPCS* exam last night?

To say I'm pleased is an understatement :-)

The next exam is chartwork in early March (that should be OK), then the final one is Meteorology after Easter (more nervous about that one, but probably only because we haven't done any met work yet).

Running

Out for 5 miles at 1015. One of those strong fluid runs that makes me feel so good about why I do this!

Heavy rain here earlier this morning, which I must admit didn't look promising, but by the time I headed out the clouds had cleared and now we have a pure clean blue sky and bright sunshine. I even saw some crocuses today - a tiny patch of mauve against the brown and gray we've so much of this time of year. It reminded me that Spring will come eventually!

At least the days are getting longer now - it was actually light as we walked home from the kids' soccer last night, for the first time in weeks.

June

There's a programme on TV at the moment about what to do in your garden in May/June. It's hard to believe here and now in January that things will ever be so green and good again.

England really is at its best in June. Absolutely the perfect time to be here. I can't wait!

Sometimes I really love my country. Just sayin' :-)
