So angry

What sort of sick idiot thinks it's amusing to spray paint a cat?

Our neighbours' cat got spray painted last night. Silver car paint. He's at the vets now - I hope he's going to be OK, I suppose it will depend how much he ingested trying to get it off himself.

No chance of finding who did it, of course. Sometimes I despair, I really do.

On a happier note...

On a happier cat-related note, we've just found out that Max's mum is going to have another litter of kittens.

There is a certain pressure from the younger elements of our household to acquire one of said litter as a companion for Max.

Personally I don't think that Max is finding being the centre of attention only cat in the house any sort of problem, but I guess it would make for a more interesting household...

We're thinking on it.

Cat update

We've just been next door to find out how the paint-sprayed cat is, and it's good news. He had to be sedated at the vets and cleaned off with white spirit, but apart from still being a bit dopey and bedraggled he's none the worse for wear.

He has to stay indoors overnight, though, and he's not too happy about that (he was attempting to rip the cat flap off while we were there, and mewing most pathetically at anyone and everyone).
