Went to see Avatar yesterday - fabulous CGI, but I have one major query (speaking as a biologist) that didn't occur to my physicist husband or my kids. A good thing is that the female characters are just as kick-ass as the male ones - we need more films with strong female roles, rather than girly chick-flicks where getting the man is seen as the main be-all and end-all of life.
