azziriaIt's raining out, and has been all morning, straight-down, stair-rod, beautiful rain. The world smells damply autumnal, a gloriously rich organic smell. It's truly gorgeous out there.
It's really hacking me off to hear people complaining about the rain today. It's not cold, it's not windy, it's just gloriously wet. These same people are quick enough to complain when the water company imposes drought restrictions, and bans them from watering their gardens or washing their cars.
We need this rain. Which makes it all the more wonderful.
It makes me want to go for a run, because I love running in the rain. But I'm being good and having my rest day before running again tomorrow.
