Running... or not

azziriaOut to take the running club 'beginners' session this evening. There was a new lady who turned out not to be up to running the distance the others have worked up to, so I ended up walking most of the way with her. Luckily two of the other women ran with DD and waited with her at the end until I got back (they're both mums, so they thought to keep my girl safe).
It was a tad frustrating not to be able to run, but I did do my good turn for the week, which is more important. Maybe I'll get up early tomorrow and do a short run before breakfast.
Race for Life on Sunday. DD will leave me in the dust again, but I do feel fit enough this year to put up a good showing.
