This from the Honolulu Star Advertiser, regarding Lori Wilson:

"Her character has also been described as a potential love interest for McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin), but German is still waiting for her first kiss.

“I’ve been here for 2 1/2 months, and nothing of the sort has come up in the scripts,” she said. “Alex and I are … just buddies on the show, which is great because I feel it will allow me to stick around longer.”"

And Catherine Rollins in on the cast list for 2.04 :)

I did read somewhere that Catherine wasn't going to be around for much longer either. I kind of wonder if they'll kill her off... That's my bet anyway simply because they haven't really done that yet except to Hesse, which kind of sucked. Also sucked Norman Reedus was only in the pilot, but that is another topic altogether.

I think the show is taking the right attitude towards the new female character--we need to see how she fits and if she and Alex have any chemistry together.

I want a lot of teasing around before they kiss. I don't want her to jump into his bed right away because he's hot. I want Steve to fall for her, hard, to deny it before he has to admit that yes, she may be the one. :-)

Lauren basically told me the same thing on the red carpet. She knows if they hook her character and Steve up, that's the end of her character. Also makes me think she knows of all the online hatred of anything remotely USTy or romantic for her and Steve.

And yeah I heard Cath would be back for at least one ep. Maybe to tie up her story line. I'm perfectly fine with the occasional booty call!Catherin.

I'll take Cath over any forced UST with Lori Weston any day.

Yay! I like Catherine. And I don't want Steve involved wtih anyone on the team (well, other than Danny, obviously *g*). I think doing that would take away from "the Steve and Danny Show" that is a huge part of why so many people watch. As long as she doesn't tread on their partnership I'm good.

I am worried about Kono's future, though...there have been a few things lately that have made me worry. Nothing overt, and I may be over analyzing, but...I worry. It's what I do. *g*
