I so love this film. On so many levels, not the least the tongue-in-cheek one.

And Puerco Pibil must be made, probably this weekend *salivates*. Not sure Cambridge runs to fresh banana leaves, though. May have to settle for tinfoil.

I just watched it again this afternoon. That makes four times (twice at the cinema last year, yesterday, while screencapping and today.). *sigh* Sands is wonderful! Ooooh, do tell how the pibil stuff works out. I'd love to try making it too.

The tinfoil version has come out marvellously for me, all threee times I've made it.

Be warned, however. It makes enough meat for an army! Even with having guests over, we were eating pork for a good long while afterwards.

I need to watch it again.
