I so love this film. On so many levels, not the least the tongue-in-cheek one.
And Puerco Pibil must be made, probably this weekend *salivates*. Not sure Cambridge runs to fresh banana leaves, though. May have to settle for tinfoil.
I just treated myself to the DVD (took me about 30 seconds to figure out which film you were referring to mind *sigh*). Can't wait to get home and watch it *G*
I just watched it again this afternoon. That makes four times (twice at the cinema last year, yesterday, while screencapping and today.). *sigh* Sands is wonderful! Ooooh, do tell how the pibil stuff works out. I'd love to try making it too.
