azziriaWell, the kitchen is nearly done, and it looks just like the picture I had in my head of what I wanted it to look like. So that's really good :-)
On a disappointing note, neither of the workmen currently on their knees in my kitchen fitting skirting boards is remotely worth ogling.
Saw the perfect material for the living room curtains today (a rich orangey rust colour with Indian elephants on it - very vibrant and sumptuous). Also saw a beautiful abstract patterned Nepali rug in similar colours which would look fabulous on the floor. However, as the kitchen is not yet totally paid for we'll have to do some saving up before we go there.
Trouble is, I've now got a clear picture in my head of how the living room needs to look. So when I look at it now, all I can think of is how much nicer it could be.
