Living alone
Sep. 26th, 2003 04:14 pmI realised today that, between family, flatmates and lovers, I've spent very little of my life living alone. I'm someone who is fairly happy with her own company, and who needs her own space, so I must admit that there are times when the idea seems very attractive.
Then I started thinking about what it would really be like, and I came to the conclusion that, without co-habitees to keep me within certain bounds of normal behaviour, I could really become very strange indeed if left to my own devices. Very odd indeed. The real, unadulterated me freerunning... Now there's a scary thought... ;-)
