Both DS's school and DD's nursery are closed today. So I've had to cancel my trip to the hairdresser's this morning (I just can't contemplate trying to keep an eye on both kids while at the salon - just not relaxing at all). I was looking forward to that *sigh*
It does mean that I can do a good deed by having my friend's little boy round to play with DD while my friend and her husband go to her hospital appointment.
Will have to venture into town this afternoon, though, because I still have stuff to get for my trip. Hopefully the roads will be a bit less icy by then.
I just hope the roads improve so that I can get to Heathrow tomorrow.
Latest: next hair appointment I can make (because of sailing and skiing) is in 4 weeks time - I'm going to be well shaggy by then. And another friend has just rung and asked if I can look after her son this morning - I'm going to have a houseful at this rate (actually, the more there are, the less input they need from me). Wish me luck!
