More food!
Mar. 24th, 2004 01:42 pmMy run at the gym last night was really hard and really slow. It was the same distance that I ran easily on Sunday, so it should have been OK. The only difference was that I put the treadmill up to 1% (to try and make treadmill running equate a bit more closely with road running). I don't know if that's what made the difference (unlikely, I'd have thought) or if I just hadn't eaten enough - maybe a plate of salad, a handful of nuts, and a couple of pieces of fruit at lunchtime just aren't enough if I'm going to run at teatime.
I'm pleased I stuck it out and made the distance, though.
I hope that Friday's effort will be better.
