Came home from work yesterday to find a large 'To Let' sign had been put up outside my house.
Either there's something DH hasn't told me, or someone's made a mistake...
We've spent today constructing a frame to hold a whiteboard next to the school pond, so that the kids and teachers can write down things they've seen. I now have alien hands (from the green wood stain).
It's a really good wildlife pond - the margin is full of veronica and watermint and loosestrife and marsh marigolds and yellow flags, and it has newts (smooth variety) and frogs galore. I love spending time just sitting by a pond like that and watching.
Now I'm off to fire up the barbeque - curried lamb kebabs, vegetable kebabs, and bangers for tea.
And beer :-)
