Just found this on a runners' message board I'm on, and it appealed to me:

I kind of like that sentiment!

Running

Just realised that last week was my first 20-mile week :-)

Ran 8 miles on Sunday morning. I've just bought a wrist-mounted GPS, which now means that instead of having to run routes that I've carefully measured on the map beforehand to make sure they're not too long or too short, I can run where I please. So on Sunday morning I headed off into town for a change, ran until the GPS said I'd gone 4 miles, then turned round and ran back. Four miles took me right into the centre of Cambridge and all along the Backs - Kings College Chapel in the early morning sunlight was a beautiful sight. A really lovely and enjoyable run.
