Kindle love
Sep. 15th, 2012 07:35 pmThe real beauty of the Kindle for me is that I can carry all the books I'm reading at one time with me (I always have 2-4 books on the go at once, to cater for different moods).
At the moment I have the second JD Robb 'In death' book on the go (thanks to
fatorangekat for that), Game of Thrones, Elmore Leonard's 'Raylan', a book by Robert MacFarlane about journeys to the wild places of Britain, and my next Book Group books (to be read as a pair) - 'The turn of the screw' by Henry James and 'Florence and Giles' by John Harding.
The downside of the Kindle is that I can lie in the bath reading, get to the end of a book and find myself needing the next in the series, and can purchase it there and then - instant gratification and absolutely no sense of how much money is actually involved.
Will power would be my friend...
