Sunflowers

DH has just planted 54 sunflowers, and asks 'is that too many?'

You can never have too many sunflowers, I say. I adore them :-)

It's been a while since I plated sunflowers. I should plant some this year.

It's probably too early to plant them yet. This has been a strange year. January was in the 50's (10 C - 15 C). Then, we had snow a week ago.

What type did you plant? The last time I planted some they were the giant sunflowers.

These are a mixed bunch - some Russian Giants, and some Vincent Mixed which come out red or orange or almost black and in a variety of single heads, multi heads, 'normal' shapes, pom poms and semi-pom poms (a wonderful variety - a lovely contrast to the more 'normal' Russian Giants.
