Took advantage of what is predicted to be our only fine day this week to head over to Brandon Country Park for a couple of hours to walk, look and listen.
It was about 5 Celsius in the shade, but warmer in the sunshine. A quite lovely morning - but we have more rain forecast for the rest of the week, so I'm glad I was able to make the most of the sunshine today.
Why did these photos make me burst into tears? Why did they tear my heart to pieces, and reform the pieces into a newer, stronger whole?
Oh.
It's because you produce true art. Art touches the soul and changes the viewer.
I needed this change today. I needed to know there is beauty in the deepest winter chill. Dormancy is not death. With spring will come change, and each spring is its own, new unique reality, never the same twice.
Weep not for the memory of summer gone before. Spring will turn to summer again, different each time, but joyful just the same.

Thank you, so very much.
