We don't get a very high germination rate with these white ones, but they're so gorgeous and they flower for such a long time that they're worth trying each year. When we get good seedlings we put them in spots where we'll see them a lot - this one is in the bed that runs along the edge of our patio, and we can see it from the kitchen and living room windows.
Exquisite. You know, that would make a lovely condolence card, of the "still a beautiful world" sort of message. (Sorry, that sort of thing on my mind, of late.)
At any rate, it's a really lovely photo, striking and full of vibrancy.
You're right, it would make a good card for that purpose. I shall remember it next time I need something like that.
I realised yesterday that I hadn't had the camera out for ages, so I dusted it off and went out for half an hour to shoot some quick photos and appreciate the beauty of what's out there right now.
