I'm not going to see ROTK until Friday. So my dilemma is this: do I go on the boards and read the spoilers tomorrow and Thursday, or do I resist temptation?

Resisting temptation has never been my strong point.

Last year I avidly read every spoiler I could, and when I saw TTT I was glad that I was prepared for the changes PJ had made from the book.

But this year I'm not so sure. What to do?

Well, to be honest, I don't mind spoiler as, (and I know this is a heresy) I can take or leave the LOTR movies. I dunno, they just don't get me like say, POTC. The first one seemed too worthy and full of deliberatly sloooow talking elves. I can't get away with the books either. Give me Narnia anytime. (Now I wish someone would do a really decent set of Narnia movies and include the ones that always gets missed, like "Voyage of the DawnTreader". Couldn't you see Johnny as Caspian?)

This time last year I was a nervous wreck anticipating TTT. This year it hasn't grabbed me the same way, largely because of Pirates, which seems to have taken over a large part of me in one way or another ;-)

I'd love to see a good Narnia movie made, but I worry that they'd be tempted to make it too 'cutesy' (Disney does Narnia? No thanks!). I want a Narnia movie that has a serious dark undercurrent, as well as lots of children and animals.
