Merlin 3.13

OK, so I try very hard not to watch this show with my slash goggles on (given that I'm watching it with my kids), but honestly... Merlin and Lancelot? Meaningful glances and late night tete-a-tetes after bedtime? It's hard...

We were seriously worried at one point that Gawaine wasn't going to survive, because we really like Gawaine, but it was all OK in the end.

And yes, I teared up when they were all pledging their alliegance to Arthur. Then laughed when Merlin said he didn't fancy it, and teared up again at the look Arthur gave him. Guess I'm just a sucker for the soppy stuff... :)

Oh--this episode made me such a sap!! Arthur setting out to live and rule by his own values, not Uther's! And Merlin being competent and heroic!

I loved Merlin's little nighttime chat with Lancelot (I'd actually forgotten L. knew about the magic)--but I can't ship them because I'm stuck on Merlin/Gwaine *g*
