Good news!

The owner of the little black cat just came to pick her up, with very relieved small daughter in tow. Seems they've just moved into the village and both their cats are still finding their way around.

I've taken her number, though, just in case we get a repeat visit.

Thank goodness for that. It's nice to know she does have a family who love her. She should get an address tag for her, to make it easier.

Apparently she is chipped, but because they've just moved the chip is still linked to their old address. They're going to try her with a collar now - I rather gather that they've had so much to do because of the move that they hardly know whether they're coming or going!
